The McMinnville photographs are two images taken by farmer Paul Trent near Sheridan, Oregon, showing a dark, disc-like object in the sky.
Although generally named after nearby McMinnville, the photographs were taken at the Trent family farm outside Sheridan. They became internationally famous after appearing in the McMinnville Telephone-Register, national newspapers and Life magazine.
