1. Welcome

Welcome to UAPRAD ("we", "us", "our" or "the Website").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.uaprad.org and any services, features and content provided through the Website.

By creating an account or using UAPRAD, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Website.

2. Eligibility

UAPRAD is intended solely for individuals aged 18 years or older.

By registering an account, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age.
• The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
• You will keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for all activity carried out using your account.

Only one account may be created per individual unless expressly authorised by UAPRAD.

3. Community Purpose

UAPRAD exists to encourage respectful discussion, research and the responsible exchange of ideas relating to Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) and related subjects.

Members are encouraged to contribute constructively while respecting differing opinions and supporting claims with evidence where possible.

4. Member Conduct

When using UAPRAD you agree that you will not:

• Harass, threaten or intimidate others.
• Post abusive, hateful or discriminatory content.
• Upload unlawful, defamatory or fraudulent material.
• Publish another person's private or confidential information without permission.
• Impersonate another individual or organisation.
• Use the Website to distribute spam or unsolicited advertising.
• Upload malicious software or attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Website.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems.
• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest or copy Website content without permission.
• Engage in activity that breaches any applicable law.

Members are expected to treat one another respectfully, even where opinions differ.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload to UAPRAD.

By submitting content, you grant UAPRAD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, reproduce and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating, promoting and maintaining the Website.

You confirm that you own, or have permission to use, any content you upload.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish.

6. Moderation

To protect the integrity of the community, UAPRAD reserves the right to:

• Remove or edit posts, comments or uploaded content.
• Lock or close discussion topics.
• Suspend or permanently terminate member accounts.
• Remove inactive accounts.
• Restrict access to certain areas of the Website.

We may take these actions where content:

• Breaches these Terms.
• Breaches our Community Guidelines.
• Is unlawful.
• Is abusive, misleading, offensive or disruptive.
• Undermines the purpose, integrity, safety or respectful operation of the UAPRAD community.

While we aim to act fairly and consistently, moderation decisions are made at our reasonable discretion.

7. AI-Assisted Moderation

UAPRAD uses artificial intelligence to assist in identifying spam, abusive behaviour and potential breaches of our policies.

AI tools assist our moderators but do not replace human judgement where significant moderation decisions are required.

8. Reporting Content

Members are encouraged to report content they believe breaches these Terms or the Community Guidelines by contacting the team directly at contact@uaprad.org

Submitting a report does not guarantee that content will be removed. Each report will be assessed in accordance with our moderation procedures.

9. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all Website design, branding, logos, graphics and original content created by UAPRAD remain the property of UAPRAD and may not be reproduced without permission.

Members retain ownership of the content they submit, subject to the licence granted under Section 5.

10. Contributions and Future Paid Services

UAPRAD accepts voluntary, one-time financial contributions processed by Stripe. UAPRAD is not a registered charity, and contributions are not charitable donations, are not eligible for Gift Aid, and should not be treated as tax-deductible.

A contribution does not purchase goods, services, membership benefits, editorial influence, or any ownership interest. Contributions and refund requests are governed by our Donations and Refunds Policy.

Any future paid services will be subject to additional terms, including pricing, billing and cancellation information, provided before purchase.

11. Availability

We aim to keep UAPRAD available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may suspend, modify or discontinue any part of the Website without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

12. Disclaimers

Content published on UAPRAD reflects the views of the individual members who post it.

The presence of content on the Website does not imply endorsement by UAPRAD.

Information shared on the Website is provided for discussion and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional, scientific, legal or medical advice.

Members are encouraged to conduct their own research and evaluate information critically.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UAPRAD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of the Website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

14. Privacy

Your use of UAPRAD is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

By using the Website, you acknowledge that your personal information will be handled in accordance with those policies.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any significant changes will be published on the Website together with an updated effective date.

Continued use of UAPRAD after changes have been published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
